So, you’re thinking about signing up for training? That’s great! Here’s how training with Eileen will work.
The first step is to fill out a questionnaire about your dog and their environment. Behavior is influenced by so many different environmental factors, some of which you may be able to control. The questionnaire will provide Eileen with the info she needs to come up with the best training plan to meet your goals. To fill out the questionnaire, click here.
After Eileen has reviewed the questionnaire she will set up a time to meet with you and your dog for an initial assessment. This session usually takes 90 minutes and the cost is $150. After the assessment session, Eileen will know how to proceed with training and what steps should be taken to achieve your final goals.
Subsequent training sessions are approximately 60 minutes and cost $110. The number of subsequent sessions that are needed are unique to each situation. The first training typically involves training for both you and dog that will then require you to practice with your dog.
After the initial session, you can contact Eileen with questions any time for the rest of your dog’s life. If it’s something she can answer in a call or email, there is no charge. She will do her best to provide you with tips to try so that you have the option of handling it yourself without another training session.
Contact Eileen if you have questions about this process or would like to move forward!
Please note that as a certified dog trainer and member of the Pet Professional Guild, Eileen does not use choke chains, prong collars, e-collars, or any other training methods that might hurt, scare or intimidate your dog. We of course are not judging if you are currently using these methods, they are still very common. Eileen can teach you how to replace them with more humane tools that work even better! Everything done with Eileen’s help and training will build your dog’s confidence, increase their trust in you, and strengthen your bond.
